Chicago starter Davis Martin enters his 10th start of the season seeking his seventh victory, which would tie him for the Major League Baseball lead.

Martin ranks third in the league with a 1.61 ERA and is coming off a seven-strikeout performance against the Chicago Cubs, according to South Side Sox.

The San Francisco Giants counter with 25-year-old rookie right-hander Trevor McDonald, who has compiled a 2-0 record and a 2.37 ERA since his call-up.
