DoorDash Ad Turns 50 Cent’s Longstanding Beef Into Prime-Time Trolling

50 cent--

50 Cent has once again embraced his reputation as hip-hop’s most relentless provocateur, using a 2026 Super Bowl commercial to take pointed shots at longtime rivals under the banner of a DoorDash collaboration.

The advertisement, titled Beef 101, debuted on February 6 and quickly drew widespread attention for its sharp humor and unapologetic mockery. In the spot, the rapper openly acknowledges his “King of Trolls” label before insisting he has moved past it.

That claim is short-lived. Moments later, the screen flashes a simple rebuttal: “50 Cent would,” setting the tone for a sequence packed with inside jokes aimed at old adversaries.

The commercial centers on an orange DoorDash bag filled with carefully chosen items, each symbolizing a well-documented feud. Viewers quickly identified the objects as deliberate references rather than random props.

Among the first items is a children’s book titled Learning Your ABC, widely interpreted as a jab at Floyd Mayweather. The rapper has repeatedly mocked the boxer’s reading ability, including a past public challenge offering a $750,000 charity donation if Mayweather read a book aloud.

The rivalry traces back to a failed business relationship in 2012, after which their friendship publicly collapsed.

Another moment sees 50 Cent pull out a ticking alarm clock while declaring, “I’m always on time.” The line is broadly seen as a reference to Ja Rule’s hit song Always on Time, as well as a reminder of the rapper’s prison sentence earlier in the last decade.

The feud between the two artists dates back to 1999 and has included years of public insults, diss tracks, and even physical confrontations.

The most pointed barbs in the commercial are aimed at Sean “Diddy” Combs. Cheese puffs and combs appear as visual wordplay on his stage names, while a bottle of Branson Cognac is introduced with a line noting it has been aged “four years, or 50 months.”

The remark is widely interpreted as a reference to Combs’ four-year prison sentence following convictions related to interstate prostitution charges.

As the ad closes, 50 Cent ties the jokes together with a direct pitch, reminding viewers that DoorDash “delivers beef,” before raising the cognac bottle once more. The final screen settles the question of accountability with a blunt caption: “50 Cent is.”

The commercial condenses decades of rap rivalries into a single Super Bowl moment, turning personal grudges into punchlines and ensuring the artist’s trolling legacy remains firmly intact.
