Phantom Lawyer Debuts at No. 1 in Ratings as Yoo Yeon Seok’s New Drama Premieres

SBS’s new fantasy legal drama Phantom Lawyer has launched with strong viewership numbers, taking the top spot in its broadcast time slot.
The series premiered on March 13 and stars Yoo Yeon Seok alongside Esom. According to data released by Nielsen Korea, the first episode recorded an average nationwide rating of 6.3 percent, leading all programs airing in the same time period.
The figure marks a notable improvement compared to the previous SBS drama in that slot, No Tail to Tell, which both premiered and concluded with an average nationwide rating of 3.7 percent.
During the same broadcast window, MBC’s drama In Your Radiant Season dropped to its lowest rating so far, recording 2.9 percent as it completed the first half of its run.
JTBC’s series Still Shining posted average nationwide ratings of 1.2 percent for both its third and fourth episodes.
With a solid debut performance, Phantom Lawyer begins its broadcast run as the most-watched program in its time slot, signaling strong early interest in the new fantasy legal series.
