The Everett Silvertips are moving on in the Memorial Cup after a decisive 4-0 victory over the host Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday night at Prospera Place.
Goaltender Anders Miller stopped all 28 shots he faced, recording a shutout that eliminated the tournament hosts.

Kayd Ruedig opened the scoring at 7:22 of the first period with a shot from the right boards that deflected off a defender and into the net.
Just 25 seconds later, Jaxon Pisani doubled the lead with a floating shot from the left blueline past Kelowna goaltender Josh Banini.
It was Pisani's first career Canadian Hockey League goal.
The Rockets applied early pressure but could not solve Miller.
A potential goal from in front was overturned after video review showed the puck was kicked across the line.

Matias Vanhanen made it 3-0 early in the second period, prompting Kelowna head coach Derrick Martin to replace Banini with Harrison Boettiger.
Banini allowed three goals on 11 shots.
Boettiger stopped 21 of 22 shots in relief, with the only goal against coming late in the third period from Everett forward Carter Bear to seal the win.
With the loss, Kelowna finished the round-robin with an 0-3 record, becoming the second straight Memorial Cup host to go winless after the Quebec Remparts in 2025.
Everett now faces the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League champion Chicoutimi Saguenéens in the semifinal on Friday.

The winner will play the undefeated Kitchener Rangers in the championship final on Sunday.
