ADO Den Haag secured a 3-2 victory over Belgian side KV Mechelen in a closed-door preseason match in Roosendaal on July 18, 2026.
The Dutch side came back from a 2-0 deficit to claim the win.

The match was played over four 30-minute blocks. Benito Raman opened the scoring for KV Mechelen in the 9th minute.
Keano Vanrafelghem extended the lead to 2-0 in the 65th minute after a cross from Decoene.
ADO Den Haag initiated its comeback late in the third block through an own goal by Ian Struyf in the 85th minute.
Three minutes later, Nigel Thomas equalized following a pass from Jan Zamburek.
Luka Reischl completed the comeback in the 106th minute by scoring from a corner kick scramble.
Prior to kickoff, both teams observed a minute of silence for referee Rob Dieperink, who passed away at age 38.
The match also marked the debuts of ADO Den Haag newcomers Jan Zamburek, Lasse Wilhelm, and Niclas Thiede.
Off the pitch, ADO Den Haag extended the contract of midfielder Juho Kilo through 2029, with an option for an additional season.
Technical manager Steven Gunn and technical director Mark Wotte pushed to retain Kilo, who logged the most minutes during the club's promotion season.
