Warhammer Community has detailed how the Fyreslayers will fit into Battletome Khazalite Holds, placing the faction within a wider duardin army structure.
The update keeps Fyreslayers as aggressive assault troops, fighting alongside the Kromdron, which bring guns, artillery, and defensive strength.
Players who prefer a pure Grimnir force can still field Fyreslayers selections or the Fyrd of Fyrepeak Army of Renown.
Units Leaving the New Battletome
Several Fyreslayers units will leave the new battletome and move toward Warhammer Legends status after a transition period.
Those units will remain usable in competitive events for one year after the new book releases.
The changes remove four infantry-focused heroes from the army, along with Magmic Invocations and the Magmic Battleforge.
Vulkite Berzerkers are among the most significant departures, shifting the role of Fyreslayers forces.
Hearthguard and Flameseekers become central infantry choices alongside Magmadroths and characters.
Units moving to Warhammer Legends include Vulkite Berzerkers, Auric Runemaster, Battlesmith, Doomseeker, Grimwrath Berzerker, Magmic Battleforge, and Magmic Invocations.
What Stays in Khazalite Holds
Battletome Khazalite Holds includes Auric Runefather on Magmadroth, Auric Runeson on Magmadroth, and Auric Runesmiter on Magmadroth.
It also features Auric Runefather, Auric Runeson, Auric Runesmiter, Auric Flamekeeper, and Grimhold Exile.
Vulkyn Flameseekers, Auric Hearthguard, Hearthguard Berzerkers, and the new Ormyr and Ashtongue round out the list.
Warhammer Community listed Gotrek Gurnisson as an honorary inclusion because he is not technically a Fyreslayer.
The character was included to avoid leaving him out of the faction overview.
The new Khazalite Holds range will be available for pre-order soon, introducing the updated duardin faction structure through the new battletome.
