The Beaverlodge RCMP issued an Amber Alert on July 9, 2026, following the suspected abduction of a six-year-old boy in the Beaverlodge area.
Authorities are searching for multiple individuals believed to be connected to the incident.

Investigators released specific details regarding the vehicle currently tied to the ongoing search operation.
"Krista may be driving a black 2015 Toyota Tundra with AB license plate CTN9517," stated the Beaverlodge RCMP.
Police reported that she could be accompanied by a 35-year-old white male named Daniel Ludwig.
"5 ft 11 in, large build, brown hair and brown eyes," added the Beaverlodge RCMP.

Officials also expressed concern that a second child might be in the company of the individuals sought by law enforcement.
"They may also have Karl Morrison with them, a four-year-old white male, slight build, long dirty blonde hair and brown eyes," said the Beaverlodge RCMP.
Mounties warned the public to exercise caution and avoid approaching any of these individuals if spotted.

Witnesses with information are directed to contact the Beaverlodge RCMP at 780-354-2955 or their local police service, as the alert spans a 200-kilometer radius from Beaverlodge.
