Respawn Entertainment has announced a major crossover event that will bring the dystopian world of Cyberpunk into Apex Legends.
The limited-time collaboration starts July 14, 2026, and runs through August 4, 2026.

The event transforms the E-District map into a Night City-inspired environment. Players will see neon skyboxes, holographic koi, and corrupted corporate signage.
New Gameplay Mechanics
A new Wildcard game mode introduces two Cyberware modifications: Sandevistan and Blackwall Breach. Sandevistan allows rapid directional dashes that recharge shields.
Blackwall Breach lets players phase into the Net to reposition before unleashing a shield-damaging EMP.
Using these modifications increases Cyberware Capacity, which can trigger Cyberpsychosis if overloaded.
This state grants enhanced movement speed and melee damage but restricts weapon use, abilities, shields, and ordnance. Players can reverse Cyberpsychosis with Immunoblocker Syringes or Caches.

Themed Cosmetics and Weapons
Eight Legends receive themed outfits: Sparrow as David Martinez, Axle as Lucy, Rampart as Rebecca, Gibraltar as Royce, Ash as Lizzy Wizzy, and Loba as Panam Palmer.
The event also introduces an upgradeable Mythic Skippy Alternator with the weapon's AI personality from Cyberpunk 2077.
Lead Technical Designer Jesse Medellin said the collaboration was a bucket list project for the team.
He noted that many developers are fans of the Cyberpunk universe, making the integration an incredible experience.

The crossover aligns with the fall 2026 Netflix premiere of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, a ten-episode series produced by Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red.
