Thames Valley police detectives investigating Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may travel to the United States to speak with the family of his late accuser, Virginia Giuffre.
Authorities intend to meet with Giuffre's brother and sister-in-law, Sky and Amanda Roberts, about her allegations against the former Duke of York.

The 66-year-old former UK trade envoy was arrested in February 2026 on suspicion of misconduct in public office following the release of the Epstein files.
Police have appealed for witnesses regarding alleged sexual misconduct, corruption, fraud, or sharing confidential information.
Ongoing Investigation
Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said the misconduct in public office investigation is ongoing and following all reasonable lines of inquiry.
“Our aim is to explain the scope of misconduct in public office, sensitively discuss any information they have and answer any questions or concerns,” Wright said.

The department is committed to conducting a thorough investigation under the Criminal Procedures and Investigations Act.
The planned meeting in the US will not be a formal interview, as the relatives are not considered direct witnesses to the alleged assaults.
Thames Valley police are also reviewing files from the Metropolitan police, speaking with former protection officers, and assessing separate allegations involving Jeffrey Epstein sending another woman to the UK in 2010.

Giuffre’s family said: “Our broken hearts have been lifted at the news that no one is above the law, not even royalty.”
