An electric Ford Mustang Mach-E built for Pikes Peak has claimed the fastest time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb.

Romain Dumas piloted the Super Mustang Mach-E to a time of 41.98 seconds during the final Shoot-Out Final on Sunday.

This marks Dumas' third consecutive victory at Goodwood and his fifth overall win at the event.

Outpacing Formula E and Other Contenders

Dumas' time outpaced a Gen4 Formula E car driven by Daniel Ticktum, which recorded a 42.46-second run.

In third place was Alex Summers in a 1974 Shadow-Chevrolet DN4 Can-Am sports prototype with a time of 46.31 seconds.

Johan Kristoffersson followed closely in a VW Polo RallyCross car, just 0.01 seconds behind.

Travis Pastrana entertained the crowd with his custom Subaru Brataroo 9500 Turbo, finishing in 46.77 seconds.

BMW also showcased its all-new M Concept Neue Klasse, previewing the upcoming all-electric M3, alongside an E30 M3 and an E92 M3 GTS.
