Former champion Andrey Rublev will face Italy's Andrea Pellegrino in the first round of the ATP Swedish Open in Bastad on Thursday.
The top seed is looking to snap a three-match losing streak.

Rublev, ranked World No. 16, holds a 21-13 record this season. The 28-year-old Russian won the Bastad title in 2023 but exited early in his 2024 appearance.
This year, Rublev reached the final in Barcelona and semifinals in Hong Kong, Doha, and Dubai.
However, he has struggled recently, dropping at least one set in his last eight matches.
He suffered back-to-back losses to players outside the top 100 and a first-round exit at Wimbledon.

Pellegrino's Path to the Main Draw
Pellegrino, ranked No. 138, advanced by defeating Nicolai Budkov Kjaer 6-3, 6-2 in his opening match in Bastad.
The 29-year-old Italian holds a 6-4 record at ATP Tour level this season and reached a career-high ranking of No. 109 in June 2026.
His 2026 campaign includes a quarterfinal in Santiago and a round-of-16 run at the Rome Masters, where he beat Frances Tiafoe before losing to World No. 1 Jannik Sinner.

Thursday's match will be the first career meeting between Rublev and Pellegrino.
