All facilities at the Estádio do Bessa and adjacent areas must be vacated and keys handed over by July 31, ending daily activities for the historic Porto-based institution founded in 1903.
A fan-led movement titled 'Movimento Salvar o Boavista' organized a fundraising campaign to raise the amount requested by the Insolvency Administrator.
The campaign offers custom Kelme shirts for donations of 50 euros or more to support immediate operations.
The club's management, led by President Rui Garrido Pereira, previously submitted an Insolvency Plan to the court on July 14, seeking approval from the Creditors' Assembly.
The plan aims to generate recurring revenue, ensure sustainable debt recovery, and secure the return of youth athletes to competition without resorting to refounding the club.
Former Boavista captain Rui Casaca sharply criticized past managers, political leaders, and football governing bodies for allowing the historic club to collapse without accountability.
"How do I explain to my grandson, who signed up for Boavista because of me, who today asks me why Boavista closed?"
Casaca asked.
