The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club has signed 2009-born right-shot forwards Braydon Sisco and Myles Dunn to Standard Player Agreements.

General Manager Dylan Seca announced the acquisitions on Friday, June 5, 2026, as part of the team's off-season strategy.

New Additions Boost Offensive Depth

Sisco, a 17-year-old free agent from Kinnelon, New Jersey, recorded 23 goals and 31 assists for 54 points in 26 games with the North Jersey Avalanche 16U AAA program.

He also appeared in three USHL games with the Tri-City Storm.

"Braydon is a player who brings offensive skill, hockey sense, and a strong work ethic to the ice," Seca said.

The management fast-tracked Sisco's signing to secure his commitment over alternative developmental options in the USHL.

"We're excited to welcome him and his family to the Sting organization and look forward to supporting his development," Seca added.

Sisco expressed appreciation for joining the OHL franchise.

"I am so happy to be part of the Sting organization and grateful for the opportunity," he said.

Dunn, a 16-year-old London, Ontario native, joined Sarnia as an eighth-round selection in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection.

He led the GOJHL's St. Thomas Stars with 57 points in 47 games and earned a spot on the all-rookie team.

"He's a bit of a dart," Seca said of Dunn. "He darts in and out."

Dunn made his OHL debut last season as a Sarnia call-up and recorded an assist against the Kitchener Rangers.

Seca noted that Dunn functions primarily as a goal scorer while Sisco excels as a playmaker, giving the franchise a balanced combination of right-handed offensive talents.

"When he played up with Tri-City, you could see his hockey sense and creativity and his intelligence," Seca said.

The front office prioritized finalizing the contracts early in the summer to allow both prospects to focus on off-season training.

"Let's just lock this up and let him train all summer knowing where he's at," Seca said.

Sting scouts originally monitored Sisco during his draft year with the Mid Fairfield 15U AAA Rangers before finalizing his acquisition after observing his recent physical growth and dominant performances.

"You look back over the years in that league and with the numbers that he's put up, we fully anticipate he's going to be someone that can be helpful for us next year," Seca said.

Seca reiterated that securing elite offensive depth remains crucial as the organization prepares for a highly competitive season.

"We fell in love with his hockey sense and offensive creativity," he said.

The management chose to lock down Sisco immediately rather than risk losing his rights to competing developmental programs.

"We think he's just a player, similar to Myles, you just can't have enough of the talent.

And being a right shot is an important element as well," Seca said.

The standard agreements guarantee both players will report directly to Sarnia for the start of the 2026-27 pre-season training sessions.

"We think it really supports our depth going into what we believe is going to be a really important season," Seca said.

The club confirmed both athletes will integrate into the core roster immediately as the organization targets a return to the postseason.

"Braydon just has too much talent to turn down," Seca said.

Seca emphasized that the coaching staff is prepared to oversee the transition of both teenage forwards into full-time major junior roles.

"We've got some other options in the USHL and we didn't want to let him do that," he said.

Dunn, who was named OHL Prospect of the Week in January after scoring seven points in two games, said his brief stint with Sarnia last winter provided critical preparation.

"Through my small amount of time with the team last year, I was able to learn a lot and gather the knowledge I needed to get to the next level," Dunn said.

He also participated in the 2026 GOJHL Top Prospects Game prior to finalizing his commitment.

"Looking forward to getting things going and can't wait to get started in Sarnia," Dunn said.

Seca concluded that Dunn's developmental trajectory and off-ice maturity validated his readiness to transition directly into the standard player system.

"I am truly honoured to sign with such a great organization," Dunn said.

"Since selecting him in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection, we've been impressed with the way he has developed and challenged himself.

His success in St. Thomas, combined with the maturity he showed during his time with our team last season, made it clear that he was ready for this next step," Seca said.
