A 46-year-old Fort Walton Beach woman, Kawana D.
Gamble, has pleaded guilty to federal cocaine trafficking charges involving distribution and possession offenses in the Okaloosa County area, according to the U.
S. Attorney's Office.
Court documents state that Gamble conspired with others between May 2024 and September 2025 to distribute powder cocaine and crack cocaine.
During the investigation, authorities conducted controlled purchases, executed a search warrant at her home, and reviewed cellphone data.
Seizure and Charges
The U. S.
Attorney's Office said law enforcement seized more than 660 grams of cocaine and more than 50 grams of crack cocaine from Gamble.
The charges include conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute, as well as possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine and 28 grams or more of cocaine base.
Officials noted the case is part of Operation Take Back America, a Department of Justice initiative that uses agency resources to target illegal immigration, cartels, transnational criminal organizations, and violent crime.
Gamble is scheduled to be sentenced on December 30 and faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, with a possible maximum sentence of up to 80 years, according to the U.
S. Attorney's Office.
