Netflix added 65 titles to its US streaming catalog during the week ending October 10, 2026, including 39 movies and 26 television series.

The additions span comedy, horror, animation, and reality television, according to What's on Netflix.

Among the new films is Animals, a crime thriller starring Ben Affleck and Kerry Washington.

Returning Series and Documentaries

The political drama The Diplomat returned for its fourth season, continuing the story of US Ambassador Kate Wyler, played by Keri Russell.

The new episodes address the consequences of the previous season's finale, in which President Grace Penn, played by Allison Janney, and Vice President Hal Wyler, played by Rufus Sewell, made consequential decisions involving a Russian nuclear weapon.

The unfolding crisis threatens relations between the United States and the United Kingdom while intensifying the personal and professional pressures facing Kate.

Her concerns about the political environment emerge in a reflection on the administration's conduct.

"Maybe these aren’t small steps over the line," wonders Ambassador Kate Wyler, played by Keri Russell.

"What if this is a culture of consistent lawlessness, and I’m part of it?"

Haunted Hotel also returned with its second season on October 9.

The animated series follows Katherine, voiced by Eliza Coupe, and her family as they deal with continuing supernatural problems at their hotel.

The release joins the second season of Is It Cake? Halloween, which features six cake artists competing with Halloween-themed creations.

Netflix's October lineup also includes 100 Days of Deception, a limited series about a pickpocket who takes on an undercover assignment to steal secrets from the Japanese colonial government.

The title appeared among the platform's releases scheduled for October 10.
