FC Juarez secured a 2-1 victory over Atletico San Luis in Apertura 2026 Jornada 11 of Liga MX Femenil at Estadio Libertad Financiera in San Luis Potosi on October 18.

Caicedo Strikes Twice Against Former Club
Juarez pressed aggressively from the start and disrupted the home side's attempts to build attacks.
Caicedo opened the scoring in the third or fourth minute, depending on the match report, after combining with Liliana Mercado.
She doubled the lead in the 29th minute from another Mercado assist, a significant contribution against her former club.
Juarez entered the match with 21 points in fourth place in Group A after losing its previous game against Chivas.
San Luis struggled to respond before the break, and Enyerliannys Higuera missed a penalty as the hosts tried to create chances through the flanks.
Rebeca Contreras and Natalia Macias were also involved in the attacking effort.
After the break, San Luis increased its pressure and Higuera scored in the 74th or 75th minute to reduce the deficit.
The home side subsequently appeared to equalize, but the goal was disallowed for a foul inside the penalty area.
Juarez had retreated into a more defensive approach to protect its advantage, allowing San Luis to apply sustained pressure in the closing stages.
Despite the late challenge, Juarez held on for the win, extending its unbeaten run against San Luis to eight matches and marking a sixth consecutive victory over the Potosi side.
More than 1,000 fans attended the match, and San Luis supporters applauded their players after the final whistle despite the defeat.
Both teams return to action on October 24 for Jornada 12, with Atletico San Luis hosting America and FC Juarez facing Queretaro.
