Key Selections
For the handicap fixtures, Wilson selected Ironwill as a primary choice.
The horse had a progressive juvenile campaign with two wins from three starts and recently finished fifth over six furlongs at Newmarket on its seasonal reappearance.
Wilson noted that the performance suggested stepping up to a longer trip is within the horse's capability, and that Ironwill's best historical runs came on right-handed tracks with cut underfoot.
In the sprint division, Alvin is another key selection after a comfortable victory at Bath last month.
The sprinter previously placed third in a six-furlong handicap at Lingfield on Good Friday.
Wilson highlighted that Alvin ran well to finish fourth at Chester last time out despite a poor draw and missed start, indicating the progressive sprinter has more to offer.

Among the classic generation, Gstaad stands out.
The high-class juvenile finished second to Bow Echo in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket last month, eight lengths ahead of the third-place horse.
Wilson described Gstaad as a large colt expected to strip fitter for the run and the one to beat in the upcoming event.
In the William Hill Epic Boost British EBF Hedge Of Oak Stakes, attention turns to the unexposed Langstone, unbeaten in two starts since being gelded.
He won a novice event at Doncaster in March and then defied a penalty at Kempton.
The unbeaten runner is projected to appreciate the step up to one mile.

Friendly Soul also enters the field, having won five of six starts including the Group 1 Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp in October 2024, though she must prove fitness after a long absence.
