Santino Ferrucci will attempt to extend his record-setting top-10 finishing streak and secure his first career victory during his 100th NTT IndyCar Series start at the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

The 27-year-old from Woodbury, Connecticut, qualified in the middle of the second row after a four-lap run at 230.846 mph on the 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval.

Foyt Racing, Ferrucci has finished in the top 10 in all seven of his previous appearances from 2019 through 2025.

That unprecedented streak has earned him $2,785,000 in total event earnings.

A victory on Sunday would make Ferrucci the first driver to win his maiden IndyCar race at the Indianapolis 500 since Alexander Rossi in 2016.

100th Start Milestone

Six drivers in IndyCar history have won during their 100th career starts, including Mario Andretti and A. J.

Foyt, but none achieved that feat at the Indianapolis 500.

"[Winning in 100th start] would be quite the day," Ferrucci said in the DEX Imaging Media Center. "It would be a [day filled with a] lot of firsts.

We have a great career. There's no reason as to why we won't be there [to contend for the win]."

He added, "I think if we keep our heads down and worry about us, there's no reason to why we can't be doing that at the end of the day."
