Jessica Shepard made history on Thursday night, recording a triple-double with 22 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead the Dallas Wings to a 95-87 home victory over the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces.
The win at Arlington, Texas, improved the Wings' record to 5-3 and snapped a five-game losing streak against the Aces from last season.

Second-Half Surge
Shepard sparked a second-half comeback, scoring 11 points in the third quarter to tie the game.
She then gave Dallas its first lead since the opening period with a quick basket to start the fourth quarter.
Azzi Fudd, the top pick in the April draft, added 22 points in her first career WNBA start.

Paige Bueckers contributed 20 points and six assists for the Wings.
Las Vegas was outscored 50-34 in the second half.
A'ja Wilson led the Aces with 21 points, and Jackie Young added 15, but the Aces dropped to 4-3 with back-to-back losses.
