Crystal Palace is considering former Eintracht Frankfurt manager Dino Toppmöller as a potential replacement for outgoing head coach Oliver Glasner, according to a report by Sky on May 29, 2026.
Negotiations are underway between the London club and the 45-year-old German tactician, who has been seeking a new challenge after being dismissed by Frankfurt in January 2026.

The potential appointment would mirror a previous transition, as Toppmöller originally succeeded Glasner at Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023.
Glasner guided Crystal Palace to an FA Cup victory in 2025 and recently secured the Conference League title.
Despite these achievements, the 51-year-old manager announced in January that he would not extend his contract, which expires this June.
While Glasner was initially linked to Bayer Leverkusen, the German club reportedly selected Andoni Iraola instead following his strong Premier League campaign with AFC Bournemouth.
Toppmöller enters discussions with Palace after previously attracting interest from SSC Napoli and VfL Wolfsburg.

Toppmöller's Bundesliga Record
During his tenure in the Bundesliga, Toppmöller secured a sixth-place finish in his debut season with Frankfurt and later achieved a third-place finish to secure a Champions League spot.
He was dismissed in mid-January with the team sitting in seventh place, and his successor Albert Riera ultimately finished the season in eighth, missing European qualification.
If finalized, the managerial shift will place Toppmöller in charge of a European campaign next season.
Although Crystal Palace finished 15th in the Premier League, their Conference League victory earned them an automatic spot in the upcoming Europa League tournament.
Before his head-coaching stint at Eintracht Frankfurt, Toppmöller served as an assistant coach to current Germany national team manager Julian Nagelsmann during his tenures at RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich.
