Garrett's Legacy in Cleveland
Garrett, 30, leaves Ohio as a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and a seven-time Pro Bowl selection.
Since entering the league in 2017, he has recorded 125.5 sacks and 413 pressures.
The defensive lineman signed a four-year, $160 million contract extension after the 2024 season, a campaign where Cleveland finished with a 3-14 record.

The Browns then went 5-12 in 2025, leading to the dismissal of coach Kevin Stefanski, who was replaced by Todd Monken in January.
Rams' Championship Push
The Rams acquire Garrett to bolster a roster that recently reached the NFC championship game.
The move draws parallels to their 2021 trade for quarterback Matthew Stafford, which helped them win Super Bowl LVI.
