Actress Jennifer Garner and her 20-year-old daughter, Violet Affleck, were spotted together during a daytime lunch outing in Los Angeles.
The appearance underscores the close relationship between Garner and her eldest child, whom she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck.

Garner and Affleck married in 2005 and welcomed three children: Violet, Fin (17), and Samuel (13). The couple ended their marriage in 2015.
The family recently mourned the loss of Affleck's mother, Chris Affleck, who passed away in early June at age 83.
Chris Affleck dedicated over 30 years as a public school teacher and was active in social justice movements.
Her advocacy influenced Violet, who addressed the United Nations General Assembly in September 2025 on airborne disease prevention and mask mandates.

Garner recalled an incident during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter where Violet spoke out directly.
"Violet's hyper-articulate – she is Ben Affleck's daughter," Jennifer Garner said.
Garner described how Violet stood on a chair in a velvet dress and addressed the cameras.
"We didn't ask for this. We don't want these cameras; they're scary.

The men are scary, they knock each other over, and it's hard to feel like a kid when you're being chased," Violet said.
