As the NFL season kicks off on September 9, Toyota is rolling out an advertising blitz.

One of its first ads, titled “The Game Won’t Stop,” stars 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and two-time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning.

In the commercial, kids play NFL Flag football, and Manning throws a pass that gets intercepted by a girl.

She hands it to a woman who hops into a Sienna minivan, and her son then runs with the ball while Manning and others chase in vehicles like a Camry and Grand Highlander.

The chase ends at a football field where they turn on the lights and start playing.

The ad concludes by noting Toyota is the official automotive partner of NFL Flag football.

Shot in Los Angeles by Saatchi & Saatchi, the campaign also brought Manning behind the camera through his Ten Till Productions.

The spot will air during NBC’s NFL Kickoff on September 9 as part of a larger Toyota activation, which includes cultural initiatives and fan experiences.

A key component of the fan experiences is gameday giveaways, with a new vehicle and a trip to Super Bowl LXI among the prizes.

In other football-related advertising news, Nissan has rebooted its long-running Heisman House campaign.

The new “Tell Them a Heisman Sent You” blitz is billed as an episodic series showing Heisman legends competing to be Nissan’s top spokesperson.

The effort includes 30-second spots during college football games and longer clips on YouTube. It will highlight several models, including the 2027 Rogue Hybrid.

The series kicks off on September 4 and stars athletes such as Barry Sanders, Derrick Henry, Eddie George, Fernando Mendoza, Jim Plunkett, Tim Tebow, and Travis Hunter.
