Dutch Formula One commentators Olav Mol and Jack Plooij are launching a new live pre-race program on the streaming platform KIJK, starting on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Monaco Grand Prix.

The half-hour show titled 'GP Voorbeschouwing met Olav en Jack' will air from the Grand Prix Radio studio, concluding 15 minutes before the race begins.

The program offers free race previews, paddock updates, and strategic insights without requiring a subscription. This presents direct competition to Viaplay's broadcasting services.

Mol will continue providing live race commentary through Grand Prix Radio, which secured F1 radio rights for the next three years.

This arrangement follows a collaborative agreement with Viaplay, the company currently holding the primary live television broadcasting rights in the Netherlands alongside F1 TV Pro.

Viaplay representative William Linders stated that the multi-year radio rights agreement stabilizes the market and offers fans maximum choice.

Grand Prix Radio executive Gerard Timmer noted that the three-year contract allows further investment in quality and innovation.
