Florida A&M football has added a dynamic weapon to its special teams unit.
Kieren Jackson, a BOXTOROW HBCU All-American return specialist, announced his commitment to the Rattlers on June 2.

Jackson, a Jacksonville native, previously played at NCAA Division II Edward Waters during the 2025 season.
He now moves to the Division I Football Championship Subdivision level with Florida A&M.
During his junior year at Edward Waters, Jackson made a national impact in Black College Football. He recorded 20 kick return attempts for 558 yards and three touchdowns.
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound athlete also added 129 yards and one touchdown on three punt returns, earning All-American honors.

Jackson also contributed on offense as a wide receiver, catching eight passes for 94 yards last season.
His transfer reunites him with head coach James Gray at Florida A&M.
Gray previously coached Jackson at Edward Waters, and Jackson will join several former Albany State teammates, including quarterback Isaiah Knowles.
The Rattlers are scheduled to open their 2026 season against Albany State on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 7 p.
