Manchester City youngsters Nico O'Reilly and Rayan Cherki have secured nominations for this year's PFA Young Player of the Year award.
O'Reilly enters the shortlist after already capturing the Etihad Player of the Year award and winning the Premier League's Young Player of the Season vote.

The 21-year-old Academy graduate featured in 53 matches across multiple positions, including left-back and midfield, while directly contributing to 15 goals during the campaign.
Meanwhile, Cherki earned his second nomination of the day after also being shortlisted for the main PFA Players' Player of the Year award.
The 22-year-old French international enjoyed a strong debut period in English football, recording 10 goals and providing 15 assists.

City's History with the Award
Manchester City players have previously won this specific award on five occasions throughout the club's history.
Peter Barnes became the first City player to claim the honor in the 1975/76 season, followed decades later by Leroy Sane in 2017/18 and Raheem Sterling in 2018/19.
Phil Foden secured the award twice consecutively, winning it back-to-back in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons.

The final winner will be revealed during an official ceremony hosted at the Manchester Opera House on Tuesday 25 August.
