Frontier Airlines has launched eight new domestic routes that were previously operated by Spirit Airlines, following the latter's operational shutdown in May 2026.
The new services began on July 5 and July 6, 2026, targeting key travel hubs including Detroit, Las Vegas, Boston, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale.

New Routes and Promotional Fares
The expansion includes daily flights from Detroit to Fort Lauderdale, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas, as well as new connections from Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Orlando, and New Orleans.
Other routes link Las Vegas to Kansas City, Orlando to Memphis and Richmond, and Fort Lauderdale to Detroit.
Frontier is offering introductory fares between $39 and $79 for tickets purchased by July 12, valid for travel from August 3 through September 2, 2026.

The carrier aims to maintain affordable travel options during the summer season.
Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines, stated, "We are pleased to grow our service across the country to ensure low-cost flight options remain available to consumers as they plan their travel this summer and beyond."
In addition to the new routes, Frontier has introduced premium product changes, including enhanced seating configurations and an upgraded frequent flyer program.

The airline also plans further Las Vegas network growth, with flights to Oakland and Boise scheduled to begin in August and September.
