Cardinals Manager Oliver Marmol adjusted the rotation, delaying McGreevy's start by two days to provide extra rest before the All-Star break.

Matt Svanson and Hunter Dobbins started Tuesday's doubleheader instead.

McGreevy holds a 3-7 record with a 3.12 ERA across 95 1/3 innings and 17 starts this season.

The Cardinals have also given additional rest to pitcher Andre Pallante and adjusted the bullpen to maintain health.

"It's part of the game within the game, health," Marmol said. He explained that keeping the roster healthy remains a priority before the break.

The Brewers lead the series after sweeping Tuesday's doubleheader, aided by their bottom of the batting order.

Milwaukee's six-through-nine hitters secured 17 of the team's 28 hits and drove in 10 runs across the first three games.

"Those aren't the guys that are in the limelight every single day," said Brewers Manager Pat Murphy.
