Queen Rania of Jordan announced on July 9, 2026, via Instagram that her eldest daughter, Princess Iman, is expecting her second child with husband Jameel Alexander.

The 29-year-old princess and her Venezuelan-born financier husband are already parents to a daughter named Amina, born in February 2025.

The upcoming arrival will be the third grandchild for Queen Rania and King Abdullah.

The announcement included a photo of Princess Iman showing her baby bump in a garden, with her husband and daughter.

"A new joy on the way...

Congratulations to Iman, Jameel and my beloved Amina who is going to be a big sister," Queen Rania wrote.

She added, "May Allah keep you safe and sound, Lord. The grandchildren club is growing, and we couldn’t be happier."
