Nottingham Forest has made a €25 million bid for Feyenoord right-back Givairo Read, according to a report from Feyenoord Transfermarkt on Thursday morning.

The Premier League side's initial offer is expected to be rejected immediately by the Rotterdam-based club, which is holding out for a significantly higher fee.

Feyenoord in Strong Position

Read has already made 54 appearances for the first team and is valued at around €25 million by Transfermarkt.

Player's Stance

In an interview with Voetbal International last weekend, Read expressed his thoughts on his future.

"I haven't become champion with Feyenoord yet, that's really a goal. We're going for that this season, if it may be so," he said.
