The Freelander 8, the rugged SUV born from Jaguar Land Rover's joint venture with Chery, is set to launch in multiple markets later this year.
It will be available in eight distinctive colors, with three reserved for the special First Edition model.

The First Edition trio includes Dancing Silver and Lucent Lime, both with satin finishes, and Immersive Purple, a deep pearlescent shade.
The rest of the palette comprises Dancing Silver gloss, Boundless Blue, Brilliant Bronze, Daring Black, and Uplifting White.
Interior Packed with Chinese Tech
The cabin of the Freelander 8 is far more modern than any current JLR product in the West.
A 15.6-inch central infotainment screen is built into the dashboard, while a slim 46.3-inch display stretches across the full width of the windshield, known as the Panoramic Intelligent Display.
The 1.2-meter-wide 8K panel reportedly hits 1,000 nits, ensuring legibility in bright sunlight or darkness.
The steering wheel has a slightly squared-off shape to allow the driver to see the readout, which serves as an instrument cluster and a separate screen for the passenger.
Plush materials include leather, Alcantara, and real metal accents. A driver-monitoring camera is on the A-pillar, and there are dual wireless smartphone chargers up front.
Physical toggles beneath the screen provide tactility often missing in modern Chinese cars. The infotainment system was developed by Chery and runs on a Chinese software platform.
