The Toronto Tempo expansion franchise seeks to set a WNBA attendance record during its first-ever visit to Montreal for a two-game series at the Bell Centre starting Friday, July 17, 2026.
The Canadian club faces the Dallas Wings on Friday and the New York Liberty on Sunday.

With a capacity exceeding 22,000, a sellout crowd at the Bell Centre would surpass the current WNBA regular-season record of 20,711.
According to reports by The Globe and Mail, the all-time regular-season professional women's basketball record stands at 21,490, established in January 2026 by the Unrivaled 3x3 league in Philadelphia.
Toronto Tempo guard Kia Nurse expressed enthusiasm about expanding the reach of the sport across Canada.
"I think it's really special that this organization, being the first of its kind globally, first international team for the WNBA, first WNBA team in Canada, go into these cities and create this place of belonging," said Nurse.

Nurse, a 30-year-old Hamilton native, previously played in Quebec through youth programs and represented Team Canada in the province.
"You can look out on the court and see somebody that looks like you and resonate with them, resonate with their story," she added.
The trip comes during a difficult stretch for the 9-12 Tempo, who have dropped four of their past five matchups due to multiple roster injuries.

To address the lack of depth, Toronto signed center Kayla Alexander to a seven-day hardship contract on Thursday following a knee injury to center Nyara Sabally.
