Police received an emergency call around 7:00 p. m.
regarding a stabbing at the intersection of Spoorlaan Noord and Joost van den Kerckhovestraat. Officers attempted to resuscitate the victim at the scene.
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the location despite life-saving efforts. Authorities then issued a Burgernet message to locate the perpetrator.
