Brembo has introduced its most powerful passenger car brake caliper ever, but it's not on a supercar.
The new Boldika six-piston caliper debuts on the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST.

The Boldika generates over 8,500 Nm (6,269 lb-ft) of braking torque, designed for large, heavy, and high-horsepower vehicles like full-size trucks and SUVs.
Why the Silverado EV Went First
Brembo chose the 2026 Silverado EV RST Stars and Steel Edition for the Boldika's debut.
The caliper features a three-piece hybrid construction with two aluminum halves bolted around a cast-iron central bridge.
It also incorporates Brembo's Enesys zero-drag technology, which retracts the pads completely from the rotors when the driver releases the brake pedal, reducing wear and residual torque drag.

The Boldika is compatible with wheels 20 inches and larger, and on the Silverado, it's finished in Torch Red against high-gloss black wheels with Chevrolet and Brembo branding.
The new caliper will eventually spread to more electrified and combustion trucks and SUVs from various automakers.
Beyond the brakes, the RST Stars and Steel Edition features American-flag-inspired graphics on the hood and tailgate, available in Black or Summit White.
The electric truck has a 4WD powertrain rated at 760 hp (567 kW / 771 PS), with Extended Range and Max Range versions offering up to 410 miles (660 km) and 478 miles (769 km) respectively.
