Renault's electric 5 hatchback now travels up to 12 miles further on a full charge, thanks to aerodynamic tweaks and optimized battery electronics.
The updated model also introduces optional gold wheels and blue paint, evoking the iconic Clio Williams from the 1990s.

Range Improvements
The Urban Range version with a 40 kWh battery now achieves 196 miles (315 km) on the WLTP cycle, up from 194 miles (312 km).
The 52 kWh Comfort Range sees a more significant boost, jumping from 255 miles (410 km) to 267 miles (430 km).
New Entry-Level LFP Battery
Renault's entry-level 5 will soon feature a 36.5 kWh LFP battery borrowed from the Twingo E-Tech, paired with a new 107 hp (80 kW) motor.
Despite the smaller capacity, Renault claims 190 miles (305 km) of range for the lighter LFP derivative.
The base model also gains an 80 kW DC fast charger as standard, a feature previously unavailable on entry-level versions.

Design and Tech Updates
Flame Red joins the color palette, while Techno and Iconic Cinq trims can be specified with gold wheels and new roof graphics.
Inside, the Iconic trim swaps yellow upholstery for a subtle blue, and a new Qi2 wireless charger can replenish 50 percent of a compatible phone's battery in an hour.
A smart driving mode replaces MySense, automatically switching between Eco, Comfort, and Sport based on driving style.
