The Chicago Sky hosts the Minnesota Lynx in a WNBA regular season rematch on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Both squads enter the afternoon matchup holding identical 3-2 records while managing severely depleted rosters due to various injuries.

Minnesota looks to build momentum following a 100-72 home victory against the expansion Toronto Tempo on Thursday night.

Maya Caldwell scored 16 points off the bench, Courtney Williams recorded 15 points and eight rebounds, and rookie Olivia Miles contributed 14 points and five assists during the blowout.

The Lynx average 89.4 points per game offensively while allowing 83.8 points defensively, according to statistics provided by Data Skrive.

Williams currently averages 15.6 points, 3.8 assists, and 5.4 rebounds per contest for Minnesota, which ranks sixth in the league in defensive rating.

The upcoming game serves as a rematch from Sunday, when Chicago upset Minnesota before losing its subsequent game 99-89 to the Dallas Wings on Wednesday night.

Kamilla Cardoso paced the Sky with 24 points and 11 rebounds against Dallas, while Natasha Cloud added 21 points.

Chicago holds a +2.7 net rating but faces a growing injury list, notably losing new acquisition Rickea Jackson to a season-ending knee injury.

Skylar Diggins averages 12.8 points and 5.3 assists for the Sky, who score 85.0 points per game and give up 83.0 points.

Sky coach Tyler Marsh provided an update on Jackson after she sustained a non-contact left knee injury during Sunday's victory over Minnesota.

Jackson was averaging 22 points per game prior to the injury.

"She's in decent spirits," said Marsh.

"We're waiting to evaluate everything, but she was proud of the team for continuing to fight while she was out."

The coach expressed satisfaction with the team's season-opening road performance before returning home for a four-game stretch at Wintrust Arena.

"We're all extremely pleased and proud to come away with this road trip 3-1 and looking forward to getting back home," said Marsh.

The Sky remain without several players as DiJonai Carrington, Azura Stevens, and Courtney Vandersloot have yet to debut this season due to foot and knee injuries.

Minnesota continues to play without forward Napheesa Collier, who remains sidelined for approximately two weeks following offseason ankle surgery.
