English Premier League club Crystal Palace has begun negotiations with former Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Dino Toppmoller to fill its managerial vacancy.
The talks took place on Friday, May 29, 2026, according to a report by Sky.
The London club identified the 45-year-old German tactician as a primary candidate to succeed current manager Oliver Glasner, who is scheduled to leave this summer.
Toppmoller previously succeeded Glasner at Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 before being dismissed in January 2026.
He managed 121 competitive matches for Frankfurt, averaging 1.55 points per game and guiding the team to Champions League qualification.
Toppmoller is reportedly ready for a new professional challenge.
His availability had attracted interest from VfL Wolfsburg, SSC Napoli, Al-Ittihad, and 1. FC Cologne before Crystal Palace advanced negotiations.
Glasner led Crystal Palace to an FA Cup victory in 2025 and recently won the UEFA Conference League, qualifying the 15th-place Premier League squad for the Europa League.
He announced in January 2026 that he would not extend his contract past June, with links to Bayer Leverkusen.
