More than 100,000 music enthusiasts are descending upon Lytham Green as the annual five-day Lytham Festival officially gets underway on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, celebrating its 15th anniversary with a star-studded lineup on the Lancashire coast.

The open-air event, organized by Cuffe & Taylor in partnership with Live Nation UK, transforms the seaside town into one of the leading music venues in Northwest England, drawing up to 20,000 attendees daily through July 5.

Headliners and Anniversary Plans

Festival co-founder Peter Taylor expressed immense enthusiasm regarding the curated lineup and the scale of the anniversary celebrations.

"What a party we have planned for our 15th anniversary year.

We have five huge headliners on the bill this year and alongside them we have a brilliant raft of special guests and support artists," said Taylor.

He further emphasized the ongoing commitment of the organizers to continuously elevate the musical experience for returning audiences each year.

"Every year we try to mix things up, to surprise our audience and to bring the biggest and the best of the current touring market.

I think it's safe to say we have done that for 2026 and I can't wait to once again throw open the gates and welcome everyone to The Green," said Taylor.

The daily entertainment schedule features prominent headliners, starting with Teddy Swims on Wednesday, followed by Alanis Morissette on Thursday, Michael Bublé on Friday, Pet Shop Boys on Saturday, and Pitbull closing the festival on Sunday as its first-ever rap headliner.

Safety Measures and Police Presence

To ensure public safety amidst the massive crowds, Lancashire Police have deployed extensive security measures, including high-visibility patrols, plainclothes officers, and specialized units such as the Mounted Branch.

"We are excited to be supporting another brilliant Lytham Festival and to welcome visitors to our wonderful Fylde Coast.

We have been working hard, alongside partners including Cuffe and Taylor, Fylde Council and other emergency services to ensure this event runs without issue," said Superintendent James Black, Operations Manager for the Blackpool & Fylde area.

Black shared several reminders for attendees: do not drive home after drinking, drink responsibly and look out for friends, safeguard valuables from theft, and note that criminal activity will not be tolerated with an increased police presence including plainclothes officers.

"This festival is all about joy, music, and being together and we're here to protect that. If at any point you feel unsafe, please come and find us.

We're here to help, and you are never on your own," said Black.
