British rock band Oasis is reportedly planning a massive return to the stage in 2027 with multi-night residencies at Manchester's Etihad Stadium and Knebworth Park.
The leaked plans follow the immense success of the Gallagher brothers' 2025 world reunion tour.
Reports from the Manchester Evening News and The Sun indicate that the rock icons have already booked substantial portions of their 2027 itinerary.
Promoters and sources close to Manchester City FC revealed that a luxury city-center hotel has been fully reserved from late May through June to accommodate the band and their touring crew.
12 Nights at Etihad, Six at Knebworth
An anonymous insider shared specific details regarding the upcoming concert schedule with The Sun, detailing a structured layout for the high-profile summer performances.
"Oasis' schedule is booked. It's 12 nights at the Etihad in June over six weeks.
They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September. Dates could be added but for now that's the master plan," said the insider.
The planned six-night stint at Knebworth Park would mark a record-breaking achievement for any musical act at the historic venue.
Additional sources connected to the discussions noted that the timing of the official tour announcement had been a major point of conversation among organizers.
"Noel and Liam always planned for the tour to have a second run.
There were discussions about announcing it during the World Cup because of the connection between Wonderwall and the Three Lions in this tournament," the source added.
Organizers ultimately selected August for the official confirmation.
In Manchester, the local festival Parklife shifted its 2027 dates from June to July for the first time in its history, a move fans believe was designed to prevent a logistical clash with the Etihad residency.
An insider previously detailed the scale of the homecoming shows and their potential expansion when speaking to the Manchester Evening News.
"It will be 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across May and June. It's just massive for Manchester and for the local economy," the insider stated.
The source highlighted that demand could push the residency even further than initially scheduled.
"It was revealed that they could even add more dates to it, there is talk of up to 20 dates.
The wider tour will also include a return to Knebworth," the insider added.
Speculation regarding the band's long-term plans originally intensified during the final show of their previous tour.
Liam Gallagher dropped a major hint on stage that sparked immediate fan theories about future concerts.
"See you next year," Liam said on stage.
The frontman continued to drop hints on social media platform X, explicitly referencing his schedule and addressing questions regarding the band's timeline.
"We're not doing anything in 2026 sorry. I don't have snizzle to do until 2027, I mean happy Christmas," Liam wrote.
He followed up with another post focusing on the same timeline shift: "Bring on 2027… I mean 2026."
When earlier pressed by fans in 2025 about the impending conclusion of their initial comeback dates, the singer hinted at undisclosed developments.
"I'm not actually, as I know things you don't know," Liam replied.
International dates are also under consideration, fueled by the frontman's interaction with fans abroad.
When a fan questioned him in Italy about a potential appearance in the capital next year, his response was definitive.
"Without a doubt. 100 percent," Liam replied.
While standard tickets for the 2025 tour ranged between £73 and £206 excluding dynamic pricing, official ticket sales for the 2027 dates are expected to launch in late summer or early autumn if confirmed.
