Filipino pop group SB19 is making history this week as they continue their 2026 international promotional tour.
The quintet will perform at Lollapalooza, throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball game, and visit the Grammy Museum.
The group's packed schedule aligns with their recent appointment as Philippine tourism ambassadors.
Historic Lollapalooza Performance
On July 30, SB19 will become the first Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago.
They will take the Allianz Stage, coinciding with the release of their new single, "Lawless."
Prior to the festival, the group is scheduled to throw the ceremonial first pitch on July 29 at Rate Field.
The Chicago White Sox will host the New York Yankees for that matchup.
SB19 joins a shortlist of Filipino personalities, including Manny Pacquiao and Liza Soberano, to receive this honor.
These events follow their sold-out Global Spin Live session at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on July 28.
Immersive Pop-Up Experience in Los Angeles
Ahead of these milestones, SB19 hosted a massive immersive pop-up experience in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The event was produced by Baryo Ent in collaboration with 1Z Entertainment and Lunari Global.
"Baryo was created to celebrate Filipino culture through experiences that bring our community together while introducing our stories to a broader audience," said Stephanie Ramos, co-founder of Baryo Ent.
The Los Angeles activation featured exclusive merchandise, Filipino-fusion food trucks, and a traditional jeepney display.
The first 50 fans received signed miniature balikbayan boxes directly from the group during a surprise appearance.
"Partnering with SB19, 1ZEntertainment, and Lunari Global on this pop-up was incredibly meaningful because it represented so much more than merch," Ramos added.
"This weekend was a testament to the power of Filipino artists to bring people together and to the growing global influence of our culture."
Upcoming Japan and US Festivals
Following their United States leg, SB19 will travel to Japan for the Summer Sonic festival on August 14 and 15.
They will perform in both Osaka and Tokyo alongside fellow Filipino acts BINI and ena mori.
The group is also slated to appear at the KPOPWORLD Festival in San Antonio, Texas, in October. They stand as the only non-Korean act scheduled for the event.
Fan meetings in Sacramento and Yokohama are scheduled between the major festival dates to wrap up their global promotional activities for the season.
