Halle Berry is soaking up the sun with her fiancé, Van Hunt, as she prepares to turn 60 on August 14, 2026.
The Oscar-winning actress shared a series of Instagram photos from a tropical getaway, featuring beachside moments, fine dining, and ocean views.
In the posts, Berry showcased several resort fashion pieces, including a plunge-neck black swimsuit, a semi-sheer floral robe set, and a black maxi dress.
The couple appeared relaxed and happy, enjoying their time together.
Berry Reflects on Career and Aging
During recent podcast appearances, Berry opened up about career milestones and societal expectations regarding aging and retirement in the entertainment industry.
Reflecting on her Oscar-winning role in the 2001 film "Monster's Ball," she recalled warnings from peers about the explicit scenes.
"People around me said, because at that time I hadn't done nudity, and the sex scene was like a big, like it had a big red light on it," Berry said on the Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend podcast.
"I felt like this was either gonna be one of the best things I ever did, or it would end my career."
The role ultimately made Berry the first Black woman to win an Academy Award for Best Actress.
"If this ends my career, then I'm ending my own career on my own beliefs," she said.
In her acceptance speech, she highlighted the broader significance of the award: "This moment is so much bigger than me.

Addressing modern pressures on older women, Berry spoke on the Making Space with Hoda Kotb podcast about the constant public pressure to step away from professional endeavors.
She quoted people asking, "But you've done so much.
Like, isn't it time to just quit all that and sit down somewhere and just be on a permanent vacation?"
Berry pushed back against the notion that personal value diminishes with age.
"We're expected to find something else to do, we're expected to be on a permanent vacation as if life is somehow over, or we no longer have value, or what we have to say isn't significant anymore," she said.
She emphasized her determination to resist external pressures: "That's the hard part for me, I'm always combating that with people and having to quiet them on that issue."
