Space Exploration Technologies, which trades under the ticker SPCX, has estimated its total addressable market opportunity at $28.5 trillion for 2026.
The figure was disclosed in the company's initial public offering prospectus, as reported by Yahoo Finance.
Management calculated the projection from the total potential revenue the company could capture across its current operating categories in 2026, assuming a 100 percent market share.
The estimate leaves out potential future sectors such as space-based data centers, point-to-point Earth transport, and asteroid mining.
Artificial Intelligence Dominates the Estimate
Artificial intelligence accounts for $26.5 trillion, or 93 percent, of the company's total addressable market.
Within that segment, enterprise applications represent $22.7 trillion, based on Digital Cooperation Organization calculations regarding the overall digital economy value in 2026.
That enterprise portion covers agentic AI, enterprise software, and cloud computing.
The remaining artificial intelligence figures include $2.4 trillion assigned to AI infrastructure.
Subscription services are estimated at $760 billion, while digital advertising derived from Grok and the X platform is put at $600 billion.
Starlink and Launch Add to the Total
Outside artificial intelligence, SpaceX identifies a $1.6 trillion market tied to its Starlink satellite internet business.
That amount is split between an $870 billion broadband sector and a $740 billion mobile connectivity sector.
The company's core rocket launch business constitutes a $370 billion market opportunity.
Taken together, the prospectus points to a $28.5 trillion total addressable market in 2026, driven by artificial intelligence enterprise applications, Starlink, and space launch.
