The actress shared the news during the 2026 Hearties Family Reunion in Vancouver, Canada, on October 3, ahead of season 14's scheduled January 2027 premiere.
According to Yahoo's October 11 report, Krakow made the revelation while discussing the characters' future after their engagement in the season 13 finale.
Her announcement indicates that the wedding will take place in the upcoming season, although further details about the ceremony were not disclosed.
Krakow addressed the audience with an unexpected update about the fictional couple's relationship status.

I don't know if I was supposed to say that!" Krakow said at the event.
The announcement prompted enthusiastic responses from viewers on social media.

Elizabeth and Nathan's romance has developed over several seasons.
Kevin McGarry's character first appeared in season 6, and the pair became a couple at the end of season 11, according to Yahoo.
The upcoming season will also feature the return of Lori Loughlin as Abigail Stanton after a seven-year absence from Hallmark.
Marilu Henner is joining the cast as Birdie, Nathan's mother, adding another family connection to the Hope Valley storyline.
Krakow's Career Beyond Hope Valley
Beyond her leading role in the Hallmark drama, Krakow has built a television career that includes the military series Army Wives.
According to TVLine's October 10 report, she portrayed Specialist Tanya Gabriel in 18 episodes across seasons 4 through 6 of the Lifetime drama.
Army Wives premiered in 2007 and followed military spouses navigating personal and family challenges.
Inspired by Tanya Biank's book Under the Sabers: The Unwritten Code of Army Wives, the series ran for seven seasons before its cancellation in 2013.
Krakow described playing a military medic as a meaningful experience in an interview with Sidewalks Entertainment.
"I loved getting to play that character, it was a real honor to play an army medic," Krakow said.
She also recalled the experience of wearing the character's uniform and stepping into the role.
"Just putting on that uniform and stepping into those boots, it was a pretty unique experience."
Krakow has also maintained connections with former castmates, including Catherine Bell, who played Denise Sherwood, according to TVLine.
Meanwhile, the possibility of reviving Army Wives remains uncertain after actress Sally Pressman and series creator Katherine Fugate approached ABC executives about a reboot.
Pressman, who portrayed Roxy LeBlanc, described the unsuccessful effort in an Instagram video in June 2026.
She explained that the proposed revival had reached a meeting with executives but did not advance.
"We came up with what the show might look like today," Pressman said.
She recounted the response from the executives and explained why she had hoped to continue the series.
"Well, they said no. I really believed in it and I wanted to do it, not just for me getting to play one of the best roles of my life more, but for you guys, because of my connection to you all, and hearing how much you love the show."
Pressman also noted that ABC produces the series and controls its rights, making a revival difficult without the company's approval.
A fan petition seeking the show's return was launched in June 2026.
Meanwhile, Krakow's personal life and evolving public image have attracted attention.
Glam reported on October 11 that the actress announced her first pregnancy with husband Ben Rosenbaum in November 2025, later sharing photographs that embraced her natural curls and makeup-free appearance.
Her style has shifted over the years, from long brunette hair and dramatic eyeliner in 2014 to a chin-length bob in 2018 and thick bangs in 2021.
By 2022 and 2023, she had introduced caramel highlights, while more recent appearances showcased natural curls and prairie-inspired clothing.
