Lego Speed Champions is adding a classic BMW E30 M3 to its lineup, complete with a special M Motorsport-inspired race livery.
The model will be available starting August 1.

Forty years after the original E30 BMW M3 became a touring car homologation special and enthusiast icon, the celebration takes a smaller form.
Lego designers visited BMW's headquarters in Germany to perfect the brick recreation.
The E30 M3 joins the Speed Champions range alongside the BMW M4 GT3 and M4 Hybrid V8 LMDh prototype.
Lego aims to replicate key details, such as using two tiny forks for the kidney grills.
Teaser images show mock-ups, but the final design may vary slightly.

Lego worked with BMW designers to create a unique livery for the model, previewed on a life-size E30 M3.
The livery combines black, red, blue, and white with large '40' stickers on the doors, celebrating the M3's 40th anniversary.
Gold wheels are also featured.
BMW M head of design Michael Scully noted the livery embraces Lego's block form construction while referencing past and present BMW M Motorsport race liveries.

The Speed Champions E30 M3 goes on sale August 1 through Lego and third-party retailers. Pricing is $29.99 in the US and €27.99 in Europe.
