Napoli has completed the permanent signing of Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United for a fee of £38 million ($51 million), according to reports.
The Denmark international spent last season on loan at the Serie A club, where he impressed manager Antonio Conte.

Hojlund scored 16 goals in 44 appearances during his loan stint, helping Napoli win the Supercoppa Italiana and finish as runners-up in the league.
The forward reportedly had no desire to return to Old Trafford and is said to be delighted to secure his long-term future in Italy, where he has embraced life on the Amalfi Coast.
Manchester United originally signed Hojlund from Atalanta in 2023 for a package worth £72 million ($92 million).
However, he struggled in England, netting only 14 goals in 62 appearances across all competitions.

His underwhelming form drew criticism from fans, and the club later invested £66.3 million to sign forward Benjamin Sesko last summer.
A statement on Manchester United's official website confirmed the departure: "Rasmus Hojlund has joined Napoli on a permanent transfer."
The statement added that Hojlund, a boyhood United fan, scored 26 goals in 95 appearances for the club and was part of the squad that won the FA Cup in 2024.
