The Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) released the provisional match schedule for the 2026/2027 Eredivisie and Keuken Kampioen Divisie on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
The schedule includes adjustments for Dutch clubs participating in European qualification rounds. Ajax, FC Twente, and NEC Nijmegen have requested postponements of certain August fixtures to mid-September.

Key Schedule Changes
The league season starts on Friday, August 7, 2026, with SC Cambuur facing Excelsior Rotterdam.
Ajax and FC Twente moved their third-round matches against Willem II and Telstar to mid-September due to Conference League and Europa League qualifiers.
NEC Nijmegen will postpone its August 22 fixture against Excelsior if the club advances to the Champions League play-offs.
Defending champions PSV Eindhoven, runners-up Feyenoord, and KNVB Cup winners AZ Alkmaar have direct entry into European group stages, so their early fixtures remain unchanged.

The first major top-three clash is Ajax hosting PSV on September 5, 2026, followed by the Feyenoord versus Ajax derby in late November.
The Keuken Kampioen Divisie also starts on August 7, 2026, with five matches including FC Dordrecht against Jong Ajax and Vitesse against RKC Waalwijk.
First teams in the second tier will play during international breaks, while youth sides have separate Monday fixtures.
The KNVB will confirm the final schedule for the opening 12 rounds on Monday, June 15, 2026.
