However, winger Alejandro Zendejas did not see any playing time.

Folarin Balogun scored twice, while Gio Reyna and an own goal from Damián Bobadilla added to the tally.
Mauricio scored Paraguay's only goal.
Zendejas remained on the bench for the entire match. US manager Mauricio Pochettino made several substitutions but did not call upon the Club America winger.
Pochettino replaced Christian Pulisic with Sebastian Berhalter at halftime. In the 72nd minute, Tim Weah and Ricardo Pepi came on for Balogun and Sergiño Dest.

A final change in the 82nd minute saw Malik Tillman replaced by Giovanni Reyna. Despite seven minutes of added time, Zendejas stayed on the bench.
Zendejas's National Team Switch
Zendejas previously represented Mexico in four international matches, including two senior appearances and two for the Under-23 team.
He switched his allegiance to the United States in January 2023 after being left off Mexico's 2022 World Cup roster.
Since debuting for the US, the Ciudad Juarez-born forward has earned 14 caps, playing 609 minutes, scoring two goals, and providing one assist.
