The Dallas Wings have signed veteran guard Sug Sutton to a rest-of-season contract, the team announced Sunday.
Sutton, a former University of Texas standout, returns to the state to bolster the Wings' backcourt depth.

Sutton most recently played for the Portland Fire after being selected from the Washington Mystics in the expansion draft in April.
She averaged 11.3 points and 5.7 assists in three games before Portland waived her on May 21.
During the 2025 WNBA season, Sutton started 43 games, establishing herself as a consistent presence in the league.

"We are excited to add Sug Sutton to our roster," said Curt Miller, Dallas Wings General Manager, in a team press release.
Sutton began her WNBA career after being drafted 36th overall by the Washington Mystics in the 2020 draft.

In college, she averaged 8.4 points and 3.2 assists per game for the Texas Longhorns.
