The potential acquisition comes as Juventus general director Giovanni Carnevali restructures the squad, which includes managing the departure of current goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.
Aston Villa Prepares for Exit
Aston Villa is already preparing for the exit of their star goalkeeper, who is under contract until June 2029.
Reports from Fichajes.
net indicate that Aston Villa sporting director Monchi has targeted Real Sociedad goalkeeper Alex Remiro as the primary replacement once the Martinez sale provides the necessary financial resources.
Martinez recently concluded the 2025-26 season by winning the UEFA Europa League with Aston Villa following a 3-0 victory over Freiburg in Istanbul.

Former Juventus goalkeeper Dino Zoff expressed support for the potential transfer, dismissing concerns regarding the goalkeeper's on-field persona.
Zoff emphasized that performance remains the ultimate priority for the bianconeri.
"In la Juve lo que cuenta es el resultado y los jugadores son libres de hacer lo que quieran en el campo, siempre que aporten a la causa," Zoff told Tuttosport.
Zoff noted that the style of a goalkeeper does not dictate their effectiveness on the pitch.
"Da igual si un portero es excéntrico o tímido: lo importante es que sepa parar como Dios manda," Zoff added.
The legendary Italian goalkeeper concluded by praising the proven track record of the Argentinian international.
