Yankees manager Aaron Boone praised the basketball team's championship journey and the impact they made on the local fanbase.
"What a fun team to get behind and just the story of that team and how it's kind of come together over the last couple of years," said Boone.
He noted the connection between the city and this specific roster has created a lasting historical legacy.
